2. Website hosting
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus (EU). When you visit the website, technically necessary data is processed, in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested and information about your browser and operating system (server log files). This is done to provide the website securely and reliably, based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with Hostinger. The connection to this website is encrypted via SSL/TLS. More information: hostinger.com/legal/privacy-policy.
3. Cookies and local storage
This website does not set any cookies. So that we do not have to ask for your choice in the cookie banner on every page, we store it in your browser's local storage (localStorage, key "socva-consent", value "granted" or "denied"). This entry is strictly necessary for the function you requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG), contains no personal data and is not transmitted to us or any third party. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
Fonts are loaded locally from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or other external font providers.
4. Web analytics with Umami (only with your consent)
If you click "Accept" in the cookie banner, we use the open-source software Umami to measure anonymously how our website is used. We run Umami ourselves at analytics.socva.de on our own server at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in the Frankfurt am Main data centre (Germany). No data is passed on to Umami or any other third party for their own purposes.
The following is processed: the page visited, the referring website (referrer), browser type, operating system, device type, screen size, language setting and the approximate country derived from your IP address. Your IP address is transmitted to our server for technical reasons but is not stored. To tell visits apart, Umami calculates an anonymised identifier (hash) whose basis changes regularly and which does not allow any conclusions about you as a person. Umami does not set cookies and does not build profiles across devices or websites.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Without your consent, Umami is not loaded. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by opening "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page and choosing "Decline". Statistical data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for analysis.
Oracle processes the data as a processor on the basis of the Oracle Data Processing Agreement. The data is stored in Frankfurt am Main. As Oracle is a US company, access from the USA cannot be completely ruled out. Oracle participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). More information: oracle.com/legal/privacy.
5. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details (e.g. name, email address, phone number, content of your enquiry) to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Our mailboxes are provided by Zoho Mail, Zoho Corporation B.V., Beneluxlaan 4B, 3527 HT Utrecht, the Netherlands. Emails are stored in data centres in the EU. Zoho processes the data as a processor under a data processing agreement.
